Where the Adriatic sea touches the heart of Europe, in a territory which has an age old history of ship building, shipping and sea men, Monferr came to life in 1970.

Monferr works in the field of medium and heavy carpentry constructions, and is registered with the official 'Roll of Naval Constructors', cat.S18.

The buildings housing the Monferr offices and workshops cover an area of 3,000 sqm and there are a further 12,000 sqm of uncovered workspace, Monferr is situated 300 meters from the industrial port, 1 km from the railway, 2 Km from the nearest motorway exit and 3 Km from Trieste's international airport.

For the naval field we carry out the following types of work:

• propeller tunnel with stainless steel plating, and the relative montage of propeller
• construction of watertight doors with straight or curved profiles
• platforms for loading tenders
• telescopic ramps

We also offer specific carpentry services to the civil sector:

• thermal lathe with numeric testing (competitive conditions !)
• welding with non destructive testing
• steel piping, methane pipelines
• welding and assembly in iron, stainless steel, light alloy
• complete realization of client's designs through to final testing

The strength of Monferr depends upon our 150 workers, who are qualified and certified professionals of the R.I.NA. supported by a strong technical staff and constantly updated equipment and workshops at their disposal.
